Baked goods are nice, but it lacks a personal Edge. It's a small town should be friendly and warm don't get that feeling

Spectacular Bakery - always a Lg assortment of fresh cakes, pies, pastries & cookies available. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Nice local bakery with a helpful staff. Their pastries are always fresh and very tasty. Love their fruit pies. At a time when most baked good come out fairly tasteless, this place it the exception. I especially like their seedless rye - not sliced. Give it a try.

New owner so I guess that explains why prices have gone up and quality has gone down

I have been going here for years. My family loves the Philly fluff and the 7 layer chocolate cake with chocolate icing. There's no point in thinking about the calories of course!

Just called this place to see if I can get a nice cake done for someone’s birthday today. And I told them and asked if I can pick it up around 5sh after work.. she asked me how big I wanted the cake and I simply said a normal sized cakes it doesn’t matter I just needed it for someone’s birthday. and the girl who answered the phone told me “i Don’t Know ” “you can call tomorrow and see when the baker is here”. And I simply told her And repeated that I needed one for today BECAUSE TODAYS THE BIRTHDAY AND ID PAY W.E it was that I needed to pay and she replied “idk what to tell you then” as if I was annoying her (meanwhile we’ve been on the phone for 20 seconds the most lol). She made the whole conversation awkward. Ha never again will I even attempt to call this place. NO HELP AND thank god there’s a few other bakeries that helped and would like my business.

Always a dilemma choosing when you see the wide selection at country boy bakery. The chocolate cakes are heavenly and the seven layer chocolate frosted cake is my personal favorite The dry cakes are all worth trying too. The dairy section has a nice variety of cheese cakes as well as an amazing strawberry shortcake The Napoleon is a huge slice easily shared and delish too

Rude service, by the counter person, Esmeralda. I asked that a cake I ordered, specially, be packed for a car ride. When they brought it out, they placed the cake in a cake box. No String. I told Esmeralda, "I called and asked them to pack it properly for a car ride, can you place it in a box?" No, said Esmeralda, we can't. "We got no boxes." I said, "In a bakery this size, you have no boxes?" Which of course she determined, without looking. Esmeralda, has a very poor attitude, for someone working in the service industry. I didn't buy my cake in this small bakery, to be given rude treatment. If you're looking for good service, try another bakery.
